On June 13, we organized a dissemination session at my workplace to share the experience and outcomes of our Erasmus+ project. Together with Victor and with support from Andrea — who contributed photos and creative activity ideas — we introduced our colleagues to the Erasmus+ programme, the goals of our project, and what we achieved during the training.
Although only a few colleagues were present (as many had already started their summer vacations), the feedback was incredibly positive. Their curiosity and enthusiasm gave me an extra boost of confidence and motivation to continue with the interactive activities I had originally planned.
We agreed to organize a hands-on session with more participants once more people return to the office. I'm looking forward to putting these ideas into action and spreading the tools we explored — especially with the support of such an encouraging team!
As the partner organisation from Cyprus in the Erasmus+ project “Manage Mental Health,” we held our local dissemination workshop to share what we learned in Latvia! 🇨🇾✨
During the workshop, we introduced youth workers and community members to essential tools, strategies, and good practices for supporting mental well-being in youth work. Participants explored stress management, self-care techniques, and practical ways to foster resilience.
Our aim is to spread the knowledge gained through this transformative training to strengthen mental health awareness and build a more supportive environment here in Cyprus.
Mental health advocacy begins within us! Iit’s not just something we teach in workshops, but something we must live every day.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to our workshop! Together, we are creating positive change for youth mental health across Europe.
It’s Rebecca here from the Italian team.
We conducted an online project and included screenshots of the participants as well as the PowerPoint presentations we shared during the workshops.

From Latvia to Guadeloupe: Sharing Tools for Mental Well-being in Youth Work
Back from Jelgava, Latvia, we gathered to reflect and share insights from the international Erasmus+ training course "Manage Mental Health."
Bringing together youth workers from seven countries : Latvia, Italy, Spain, Guadeloupe, Cyprus, Romania, and Türkiye this unique experience focused on exploring mental health through a practical lens.
The core mission? To equip those working with young people with concrete tools to manage stress, develop emotional intelligence, and resolve conflict with empathy and awareness.
Beyond personal growth, these methods are designed to ripple outward supporting the emotional well-being of the youth we serve and nurturing stronger, more resilient communities.
Our follow-up meetings allowed us to reconnect, share how we’ve already begun applying what we learned, and envision next steps to keep the momentum going.
Also, we were honored to welcome on our second meeting a Youth Ambassador representing the Region of Guadeloupe, whose presence highlighted the growing recognition and institutional support for this kind of initiative. His contribution reinforced the importance of connecting grassroots youth work with public institutions, and showed the positive ripple effect these European mobility projects can have locally.
Projects like this show how European cooperation can be a powerful engine for social innovation, personal development, and community transformation.
Latvian participants Alla and Anastasija organized a follow-up workshop on Active Listening and Nonviolent Communication (NVC) on June 17 in Darziņi, Riga. The session gathered 13 participants and focused on developing empathy, mindful communication, and effective listening skills. Through interactive exercises and group reflections, participants explored practical NVC tools to improve understanding and emotional connection in both personal and professional contexts.
