I’m Evi Karsera, a passionate mover, teacher, and performer based in Limassol. Since 2022, I have been the president and director of WhiteYou Cyprus, an NGO dedicated to creating engaging workshops and training courses across Europe. Our mission is to empower young people by raising awareness about body positivity, stress management, and overall well-being. With years of experience in youth work, I have actively contributed as a trainer, facilitator, and project coordinator, designing and leading impactful learning experiences.
My expertise lies in facilitating interactive workshops, creating non-formal education programs, and guiding youth workers in developing practical skills for personal and professional growth. So far, our organization has successfully implemented a project focused on stress reduction and mental well-being, and we have been a trusted partner in numerous other initiatives addressing similar themes. Through these collaborations, I have worked closely with diverse groups, delivering engaging sessions, coaching participants, and fostering inclusive learning environments that promote resilience and a positive mindset.
I am an experienced youth worker and project manager with over six years of active involvement in non-formal education, youth empowerment, and international cooperation through Erasmus+ projects. I am one of the co-founders of Do Great Things. Latvia, a youth organization that promotes personal and professional development among young people.
Academically, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Management from the University of Latvia and have also completed a six-month study program in Sociology, which deepened my understanding of social dynamics, especially in the context of youth work.
My practical experience includes participating in numerous Erasmus+ projects on topics such as leadership, entrepreneurship, active citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. I have facilitated workshops on team building, communication, brainstorming, time management, and leadership skills.
The idea for my latest project emerged from first-hand experience with the high levels of stress often caused by project implementation. Recognizing the need for better tools and support for youth workers, I became committed to developing initiatives that promote mental well-being and resilience in the field.
In my role as a youth worker and project manager, I am primarily responsible for logistical and administrative coordination, financial oversight, and liaising with local stakeholders. I am passionate about continuous learning and am always seeking new opportunities to develop personally and professionally in the field of youth work and non-formal education.
