Organizers

Selvi is a faculty member at Bryn Mawr, Math Department and this is hear 3rd year at Bryn Mawr. She is one of the co-founders of the Meet a Mathematician, this is her passion project and she started  it with her friend Padi Fuster. 

Julia is a faculty member in the Haverford Department of Mathematics & Statistics. This is her first year at the Bi-Co and she’s excited to connect with the math community.

Dalena is a 5th year PhD candidate in the Math Department. She is the math department representative to the Graduate Student Association Executive Board, organizer of the Mathematics Graduate Research Seminar, and also the Social Media Coordinator at Meet a Mathematician.

Mei is a junior math major and one of the 2025-2026 student coordinators of the Distressing Math Collective. Mei is also part of the AB/MA program in mathematics. 

Kir is a senior math major and does research in computational biology. Kir is also an international student from Moscow, Russia! He hopes that MaM day will give prospective students a look at the variety of interests that math skills can help support.

Linnea is a junior math major representative and a part of the AB/MA program in mathematics. She is also a STEMLA fellow and an organizer of the Destressing Math Collective. It was these programs which led Linnea to be a math major, and by helping organize MaM day she hopes to help others experience the welcoming environment that drew her to Bryn Mawr’s math department.

Zenas is a junior at Haverford College studying Mathematics (applied focus). I am an international student from Ghana. I am part of the Haverford Men's Track. I have interests in Robotics and Applied Probability. 

Christiana is a junior Haverford student majoring in math at Bryn Mawr.  She is from Washington, D.C., and she looks forward to MaM day being an opportunity to bring Haverford and Bryn Mawr students together, forming a community through a mutual interest in Math and all its possibilities.

Ellie is an undergraduate junior majoring in physics at Haverford College, with a strong interest in pure mathematics. Her research experience in computational physics and molecular quantum dynamics has led her to appreciate the mathematical structures and theories underlying physics. She hopes that MaM Day will be an exciting day for everyone.
