Best Practices for X-Acto Blades
An X-Acto handle and blade is one of the best tools for making. BUT, it is also the one that, strangely enough, causes the most injuries. So, professors have rules:
#1: NEVER use an X-Acto knife if you are tired, exhausted, and running on fumes. That is when accidents happen. Only use this tool when you are well rested.
#2: NEVER use an X-Acto knife if you are in a rush. A quick slip in a nano-second can do some pretty amazing damage.
#3: ALWAYS put a cover on the blade when you aren't using it.
