Makerspace

Welcome to the Makerspace section. This is my attempt to take all my 1000+ YouTube videos, 1000's of blog posts, social media sharings, and everything else documented but never shared into a collection that actually makes sense for schools. This is a work in progress as I begin to sort and organize ideas as well as develop new ones for these pages.

My goal is to provide educators real time tested and proven ideas used by myself and other local educators who can testify to the ideas. We need proof from educators in the classrooms doing this work and these pages are designed to do just that.

1. Getting Started - this page is where I am going to begin to organize my work I am doing with schools so that others can see how we have started these spaces and grown them into something much bigger than simply a space.

2. Makerspace Essentials - this page is where I will begin to review products, tools, and materials essential to any makerspace. I will gladly take any guest contributers as well.

3. Maker Tips - this page will be where I document different methods for making. I have done several of these on my blog, but my goal is to organize into categories on this page.

4. Monthly Projects - this page is where I will continue to organize and develop projects for you to use in your makerspace providing a new idea each month.

5. Maker Kit - we have developed a Google Slide template where anyone can share a maker activity to help other educators. We don't always have to reinvent the wheel. This page will store all of these ideas so any educator can easily get started.
