Special Education (SPED)

Special Education (SPED) is a delivery system specifically designed to meet the unique needs of children with disabilities. It involves individualized instruction, specialized programs, and accommodations or modifications that allow learners to access the curriculum. SPED is often guided by legal frameworks, such as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in the United States, or the Enhanced Basic Education Act in the Philippines which highlights inclusive education mandates.
