The first Belarusian printer Francisk Skoryna was born in the 15th century. He was born into a rich family in Polotsk. F. Skoryna took his doctor degree in medicine. He started book-printing and edited the first Bible in Eastern Europe. Skoryna published about 23 books of the Bible, the Little Travel Book, Apostal.
