There are six specific knowledge standards to fulfill in order to meet the competencies for the Modern and Classical Languages Endorsement. Please see evidence, descriptions and analysis/reflection relating to these. Two pieces of evidence are called for in each standard to demonstrate competency. Please note that often the analysis/reflection portion of each standard is combined as the two pieces of evidence complement each other.

Knowledge Standards (KS): Demonstrate knowledge of foreign language and language education concepts and skills delineated in current national professional standards as well as in Vermont's Framework of Standards and Learning Opportunities.
