I am drawn to languages. This calling has led me to travel extensively, study several languages, live abroad, and pursue a career that has at its core cross-cultural dialogue.

I have been teaching English to speakers of other languages for ten years. Most recently, I was an instructor in English as a Second Language at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.

While living in Cincinnati, when I was not teaching, I was in the backyard where my husband and I had an urban farm complete with miniature dairy goats, meat rabbits, laying hens, and a vegetable garden. Our new big project is to raise a human being.
