Candy 2005 Paint Mare
Candy was another horse rescued from the kill pen. She had a foal on her side and when I met her to trim her hooves, she was terrified of me. It seems apparent that she was physically abused at some point due to how afraid she was of me as a Farrier. However, I took extra time with her to help her become more comfortable with me and to accept Farrier work and of course, I fell in love with her! So, on September 9, 2015, I bought her! Welcome to the family sweet girl!
OSA Shai Luna AHA #596893
June 8, 2002 14.3H Bay Straight Egyptian Arabian Mare
Luna shows in Western Pleasure as well as being our Intermediate to Advanced Lesson horse. Luna is very patient with children and my youngest beginner daughter Payton rides her, however, Luna is better suited to an Intermediate to Advanced rider. It just so happens that she really loves my daughter. I have owned Luna since she was a weanling and have trained her up from when she was a baby. She's a sassy girl with a secretly sweet side.
Posh
1998 15H Grey Arabian Mare
Posh is a rescue horse and was purchased at auction without any information. She’s so sweet and gentle and we are very lucky to be able to add her to our Beginner, Amateur/Novice and Youth Lesson Program! She has obviously been trained for Arabian Country Pleasure at some point in time and has previously been used for breeding. She is Currently my oldest daughter, Kaylin's, partner in crime. Posh is so good that one time my daughter slid off to the side while riding bareback and fell to the ground underneath her front and hind legs. Posh stood perfectly still when most horses would bolt. She waited for me to come and get Kaylin before moving a muscle! She is a very sweet and smart horse and we feel so blessed to be her forever home.
Blue Dragon
(Sundance LB Bigaty Attiab AMA#14499A x Thunder Ridge Spark In Blue Shetland #158487)
May 1, 2013 Registered AHA# Blue Roan Tobiano Pinto Gelding
Shetland Pony standing 52” Tall
Gorgeous Driving Prospect for Show or Pleasure as well as a Stallion Prospect! He was for sale at one time, but we just can't part with this handsome boy! Fantastic conformation, flashy color AND movement! In my opinion, he is a lot nicer than a lot of Shetland/Mini crosses I'm seeing right now; and he should be because he is from an outstanding breeding program! Blue was a wild stallion when he came for training but he is very intelligent and coming along great in his training! He is more manageable than most stallions I've seen and he is safe to breed in hand.
We will be showing and standing him at stud!!!
Drake
15H Sorrel Gelding
Drake was another Rescue Horse owned by Jessica Jendersee. He was a Stallion for 15 years and was Gelded after a breeding career.
Cutty Water ~ Polish Arabian Gelding ~ March 9, 1977
Canadian National Champion Park Horse 1980
I was lucky enough to have him as my first horse! I never knew he was a Park Champion! This horse taught me to ride as he was push button and very well mannered. "Nick" as he was known in the barn, will never be forgotten by me. He was an amazing horse.
Gamblin' Rose ~ Appaloosa Mare
My last 4-H horse. She taught me so much and we went so far together. She was euthanized at 21 years old on March 2, 2015 due to a broken coffin bone.
Albert ~ Tennessee Walker
Albert taught me so much and was a true friend. He even once chased off a Cougar for me!!! He was my good friend from 15 years old until he died when I was 18. Come to find out, he was a 5-Gaited Saddle Horse. He lived to be 36 years old.
