Level 1 Certification

The purpose of Level 1 EE Certification is to ensure applicants who may not qualify for the advanced certification, those who are new to the EE field, and those who work peripherally in the EE field have a basic knowledge of environmental education.

Your complete application will include:

• Three NAAEE Modules (Include certificate of completion for each).   

       Note: You will need to create a free account on eePro.

• • What is EE?

  • The History of EE

  • Civic Engagement for Environmental Issues

• Resume

• Professional Development Plan (see template)

• Two letters of reference

• Complete 6 hours of training

  • Project WET, Project WILD, Project Learning Tree

  • Other comparable training (at least 6 hours)

  • While we highly encourage in-person training, online training will also be acceptable

Cost:

$50 (Member rate)

$100 certification fee (Non-member rate)

Your Level 1 EE Certification is good for three years.
