Level 2 Certification

The purpose of the Level 2 EE Certification is tTo ensure applicants demonstrate a thorough knowledge of EE practices, history, content and policy. Applicants must demonstrate a mastery of the field of environmental education.

Your complete application will include:

• Three NAAEE Modules (Include certificate of completion for each).   Note: You will need to create a free account on eePro.

  • What is EE?

  • The History of EE

  • Civic Engagement for Environmental Issues

• Resume

• Professional Development Plan (see template)

• Two letters of reference

• Complete 6 hours of training

  • Two teaching observations

  • MWEE 101 course

  • One GLOBE protocol training

  • 18 hours of training in Project WET, Project WILD, Project Learning Tree, or other comparable training

$125 (Member rate)

$100 certification fee (Non-member rate)

Your Advanced EE Certification is good for five years.
