Add-on

The Custom Documents Add-on uses the class DocumentsApp to create a menu and the class HtmlService to show context related information windows. In this process, no user information is collected, stored or used otherwise. Furthermore, the class DocumentsApp is used to access the methods in order to make modifications / alterations to the active Google Document. In this process, no user information is collected, stored or used otherwise.

In order to inform you about Add-on updates, we use the class PropertiesService to compare user vs. script values upon opening of the document to show a dialogue of what's new. Authentication of the Add-on is solely based on this use-case and scope.
