About

Rosie is a Bristol based artist who has lived in Cornwall for most of her life.

Having studied both Art and Renewable Energy, Rosie worked as an engineer which combined her creative side with her passion for renewable energy.

The Cornish land and seascape has heavily influenced Rosie's artwork.

Taking inspiration from nature from a young age, Rosie values her natural surroundings and this has led to an interest in both art and in renewable energy.

Rosie studied art at Falmouth College of Art & Design, where she explored her creative side in a variety of media including painting, sculpture and textiles.

Following her course in Falmouth Rosie spent time travelling in Spain where she enjoyed the change in surroundings offered by the Spanish landscape.

Following her travels, Rosie completed a BSc Renewable Energy Degree which led to working for several years as a Mechanical Engineer.

After 6 years in the office Rosie again travelled, this time to South America, where she spent 6 months exploring 5 countries and volunteering on a number of different projects.

Rosie now strives to combine her two strengths as often as possible, designing artistic outcomes for an engineered solution.
