MENTAL HEALTH AFFECTS HOW WE THINK, FEEL, AND ACT.
In my classroom, I strive to set an environment where my students feel heard. I want my students to know and understand that I care way more about their mental well-being than the grades they make on a test. My students will be treated like real people with feelings.
Mentally healthy students are more likely to engage in school activities, class work, and discussion, and have a greater desire to learn than those who are not.
