It is hard to believe that in 12 hours, I will be getting on a plane for this adventure. I have packed and re-packed. Kelly A from work gave me her Frankie the Friar mascot to travel with me. (Yes, I will bring him home, Kelly.)

There are so many things I am looking forward to as I think about my trip. I can't wait to try the food and see the sights. I am excited to travel on Emirates airline :) I have been so busy getting ready for the trip that I haven't had time to be nervous. I have had so many items on my to-do list from prepping my presentations to getting my Visa.

Through all of the excitement, I have to say that I am not looking forward to the long trip. I broke the flights up as much as I could but the thought of a 24 hour + travel day is a bit daunting. The longest flight I have been on in the past was 10 hours to Hawaii. My brother and I made that trek together and it was a great time, well Hawaii was great, the flight...not so much!
