A: We welcome applications from candidates with a Bachelor's degree in any field. While we cannot predict individual admission chances, we encourage all interested candidates to apply.

Tuitions and Educational Fees

Q: What are some additional expenses I should consider?

A: Apart from tuition fees, consider budgeting around 20,000 THB monthly for living expenses. The total fee of 270,600 THB includes tuition (24,500 THB) and educational fees (65,700 THB). Scholarships may cover tuition but not educational fees. Additional minor fees may apply for activities like field trips.

Funding and Scholarships

Q: Are there any student loans and installment plans available?

More information please visit: https://www.grad.chula.ac.th/en/scholarship.php?type=1

To be considered for these scholarships, applicants must first be admitted to the MAAE programme. Indicate your scholarship interest in the MAAE application, provide recent English proficiency test scores, and submit a Statement of Purpose. The scholarship selection is conducted by the Graduate School scholarship committee, independent of the MAAE programme.

Q: How should scholarship recipients prepare financially?

A: Scholarship recipients should be aware of potential delays in scholarship/stipend processing upon arrival in Thailand. It is advisable to bring sufficient cash to cover initial living expenses in Bangkok, including the first month's rent, a two-month housing deposit, and other settling-in costs.

Visa & Accommodations

Q: Are there Student Housing available on campus?

A: On-campus housing is available at CU iHouse, with options for daily or monthly rental. For more information: https://pmcu.co.th/cu-i-house/

Q: Is there an alternative to on-campus accommodation?

A: Many students choose off-campus housing for cost reasons. When renting in Thailand, expect to pay the first month's rent and a two-month deposit upfront. The typical rental contract is for one year. We provide a list of recommended accommodations here, but students are responsible for securing their own housing.

Exchange Opportunities

Q: Are Student Exchange Programmes Available?

A: Exchange opportunities are available with schools that have an MOU with Chulalongkorn University. Credits earned at exchange universities may be transferable, subject to faculty approval.

Please note that the slot availability might depend on the number of students applying for the exchange program during that time.

Q: What are some job placements among programme graduates

A: Currently, specific job placement data for programme graduates is not available. We are planning to initiate a data collection process in January 2024 to gather this information. Historically, our focus has been on collecting course satisfaction feedback from graduates rather than tracking their job placements. As such, detailed placement statistics from previous years are not readily accessible.
