In Memory of James (Jim) Der Bedrosian
On Tuesday, February 4th 2014, James Der Bedrosian (Jim), 66, passed away after a brief illness. Jim, born in Jersey City, later became a resident of East Brunswick, NJ where he lived with his wife and children. Jim was an active volunteer for a number of Lyme disease support groups and organizations, including the national Lyme Disease Association. Jim was always ready to pitch in to help our Maryland Lyme groups, even with only a moment's notice.
Jim worked for the pharmaceuticals industry for over 35 years. He was also employed as an Adjunct Professor teaching management courses to graduate level students. His knowledge of computers and his excellent technical skills were an asset when he volunteered to assist with various projects for the Lyme disease community.
Jim, and his devoted wife Jeannine, shared a deep commitment to those who have been affected by tick borne diseases and made themselves available to help those in need all hours of the day and night.
Not only has Jim’s family and friends suffered a tremendous loss, the entire Lyme community will miss this dedicated patient advocate. His hard work behind the scenes may not have been witnessed by all, but he certainly enriched all our lives and moved us forward with his dedicated service to others.
Afternoon visitation will be on Friday, February 7th, 2014, between 2 - 4 pm, at the Rezem Funeral Home, located at 457 Cranbury Rd, East Brunswick, NJ 08816 (Phone: 732- 257-1191). An evening visitation is also scheduled between 7 – 9 pm on Friday.
