The COPPA & Legal Story: Protecting the Future

We take federal and state safety laws seriously. Our community is built to be a model of 2026 legal compliance, protecting both our members and the LX FAMILY brand.

• Strict Under-13 Prohibition: Per the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), our services are not directed at children under 13. We utilize Roblox's Facial Age Estimation and Discord's Teen-by-Default filters to automatically reject underage users.

• Duty of Care (HB 37): We follow the 2026 Kids Online Protection Act guidelines, which require us to prevent "Age-Inappropriate Interaction." By strictly enforcing our age-gates, we eliminate the risk of adult-to-child grooming and maintain a safe harbor for our teen members.

• Verifiable Parental Consent: For our 13–15 year old "Junior" members, we provide clear notice to parents. Parents have the legal right to review their child's interactions, revoke consent, or request data removal at any time. We view parents as our partners in maintaining a safe digital playground.
