LX FAMILY (also operating as LXRP) is committed to maintaining a safe, professional, and law-abiding environment for all members. In accordance with the 2026 Texas SCOPE Act (HB 18) and federal COPPA standards, our community and its digital platforms are strictly intended for users aged 13 and older. We practice "Data Minimization," meaning we only collect the bare minimum information necessary to verify your age and protect our staff from harassment. By using this site or engaging with our community, you acknowledge that you meet our age requirements and agree to the data handling practices outlined below.

What data do we collect from you?

We only collect information that is essential for community safety, age verification, and server functionality. We do not sell your data to third parties.

1. Identity & Age Verification Data

• Discord ID & Username: To link your community profile to our member database.

• Proof of Age: For users required to verify, we collect a temporary image of a government-issued ID or a facial age estimation scan.

  • Note: Per our 2026 safety protocol, we only look at the Birth Year. You are encouraged to blur out your name, address, and document numbers if you can.

2. Technical & Connection Data

• IP Addresses: Automatically logged by our hosting providers to prevent "ban-evasion" and protect against DDoS attacks.

• Device Information: Basic info (browser type, device type) to ensure our website and applications display correctly for you.

3. Communication Data

• Interaction Logs: We may log public messages or support tickets sent to our staff to ensure community standards are met and to protect our staff from harassment.

• YouTube Comments: If you interact with our linked channel, Google handles that data, but we monitor it for age-compliance purposes.

4. What We DO NOT Collect

• Precise Geolocation: We do not track your exact physical location.

• Biometric Templates: We do not store "face prints." Facial scans are used for one-time age estimation and are immediately discarded.

• Financial Information: We do not collect credit card or bank details.

Why We Delete Your Face

At LX FAMILY, we believe that your face belongs to you—and nobody else.

When you join our community, we sometimes need to make sure you are really a teen and not an adult trying to sneak into a space meant for younger people. To do this, we use a "Quick Look" system.

Here is how our "Digital Eraser" works:

1. The Snapshot: You show us your ID or a quick facial scan just to prove your birth year (like 2011 or 2012).

2. The Green Light: Once our team sees that you are the right age, we give you your roles in the Discord and the game.

3. The Eraser: Immediately after you are verified, we hit the "Digital Eraser." We don't save your photo, we don't put it in a folder, and we don't keep it on our phones. It is permanently deleted.

Why do we do this? Because in 2026, keeping "collections" of faces is dangerous. We don't want to hold onto your personal information because if we don't have it, it can never be lost or stolen. We want you to enjoy the LXRP experience knowing that your private identity stayed private.

Your age stays in our logs so we know you're a member, but your face disappears the moment the check is done.
