Parental Information & Safety Guide

Welcome to the LX FAMILY community. We understand that as a parent, your primary concern is ensuring your teen has a safe, positive, and age-appropriate experience online. LXRP is a professional roleplay community designed for Teens (13+) and Adults.

Our leadership team, which includes experienced adults (ages 18–21+), is dedicated to maintaining a structured environment that prioritizes safety, respect, and digital literacy.

1. Our Commitment to Digital Safety (Compliance)

We operate in full alignment with the 2026 Kids Online Protection Act (HB 37) and COPPA.

• Strict Age Verification: We use a combination of platform-based age inference and manual staff checks to ensure all members are at least 13 years old. Users under 13 are not permitted and will be removed to protect their privacy and safety.

• Safety Tiers: To prevent inappropriate cross-generational communication, we utilize "Age Silos." This ensures that younger teens interact primarily with their developmental peers (13–15), while older teens (16–17) and adults (18+) have their own designated spaces.

2. Active Moderation & Behavior Standards

We believe that a safe community is a moderated community.

• Appropriate Expression: We allow natural roleplay language (e.g., "shit") to maintain immersion. However, we have a Zero Tolerance policy for slurs, bullying, or targeted harassment.

• Accountability: If a member crosses a behavioral line, they are required to issue a formal apology to the affected party. This "Restorative Justice" approach teaches teens how to take responsibility for their actions in a digital space.

3. Protective Tools for Parents

We encourage parents to take an active role in their teen's digital life. We recommend the following:

• Discord Family Center: Link your account to your teen’s to see who they are messaging and which servers they join without reading their private chats.

• Roblox Parental Controls: Set "Communication" to "Friends Only" and enable a Parent PIN to manage spending and content maturity settings.

• Verified Status: Encourage your teen to use official ID or facial-scan verification on their platforms. This adds a layer of trust and ensures they are placed in the correct age-appropriate group within our server.

4. Open Communication

We are here for you. If you ever have a concern regarding an interaction your teen had in our community, our Senior Administration is available for direct contact. We believe in transparency and working with families to create the best possible roleplay experience.
