The Wood Shop relies on volunteer woodworkers to act as monitors while the wood shop is open to the general membership. Their role is to be available to assist fellow woodworkers on the equipment. They are there to help someone having a problem with the operation of a piece of equipment. Also, to be available to help someone coming in to have a piece of wood cut, or to buy something from our display window. They insure all members coming into the wood shop have a members badge on. They insure that users of the equipment clean up after having used a piece of equipment. They identify a piece of equipment in need of repair. “Safety First” is their main function while on duty.
