LSM Edmonton

The Lutheran Student Movement (LSM) is a registered University of Alberta Club supported by Lutheran Campus Ministry.


LSM hosts weekly Tuesday evening activities, developing a Christian community within the academic setting through fellowship, worship, study and service.

Supported by Lutheran Campus Ministry and Rev. Chaplin Richard Reimer, all LSM events are open to students attending all post-secondary institutions in the city, as well as recent alumni.

Executive Members

As a registered Univeristy of Alberta Club, the Lutheran Student Movement is led by a group of Executive members, who plan and implement activities of behalf of the membership. These include weekly suppers, social events, speakers, winter retreat, fundraising for charitable projects as well as many others.


Elections for executive members occur annually at the Annual General Meeting, which is held in April each year. These elected members begin the academic year with a retreat designed to identify and encourage the unique leadership skills of each participant.
