As a nursing student balancing both business responsibilities and nursing studies, I find the experience challenging and sometimes doubt myself. Thankfully, working in a group has made it more manageable. Being part of a team has helped me sharpen my teamwork skills, and I have been able to contribute actively by sharing my ideas and opinions about our business.
Through the MPU3222 course, I have developed effective communication skills, especially when dealing with customers. Building trust and ensuring their satisfaction when they purchase our product, which is a fruit cocktail, has been a key focus. The saying “the customer is always right” now feels much more relevant, and it has taught me to be open to feedback, which helps us improve and grow our business for future success.
I also learned how to manage a business more efficiently. One of the most important aspects of running a business is budgeting carefully and listing the necessary supplies to avoid overspending. Planning when to purchase fruits and sell the fruit cocktail is equally important, as it helps maintain the quality and freshness of the fruit cocktail.
Lastly, the MPU3222 Foundation of Entrepreneurship Inculturation course has provided me with countless benefits, particularly in improving my social skills and I am looking forward to other activities that involved these skills.
