Working on a cocktail business as our MPU3222 business project was a challenging yet rewarding experience for me. From the beginning of the project, I realized how crucial it is to have a solid concept and plan when venturing into our business as our team decided to focus on creating a unique and high-quality cocktail. This project taught me the importance of identifying a niche and aligning the product offering with customer preferences.
One of the key takeaways was the importance of effective communication and teamwork. By listening actively, delegating tasks effectively, and integrating everyone's input, I realized how collaboration can enhance the overall quality of a project.
Working on the cocktail recipes allowed me to tap into my creativity, as we were tasked with developing a unique cocktail menu, and the process of experimenting with flavors, garnishes, and presentations taught me how to innovate within a set of constraints. I learned how creativity plays a vital role in setting brands apart in the competitive cocktail industry.
Although the project was an enriching experience, it was not without its challenges. One of the biggest obstacles was managing time effectively. At times, I felt overwhelmed by the workload, especially in balancing this project with other commitments especially packed class schedule. However, through better time management and setting clear priorities, I was able to overcome this challenge.
All in all, this cocktail business project was an invaluable learning experince. It sharpened my skills in creativity, teamwork, and marketing strategy.
