In this episode of LUMS Math Circle, students embarked on a journey to the Stone Age and learned counting principles using stones.

Dr. Imdad Ullah Khan and Dr. Imran Anwar amazed school kids with wonderful techniques of counting by translating algebraic problems to physical counting problems. Using stones, they established relationship between counting and area of fundamental objects. Intutively, students were able to deduce general formulae for various summation problems.
