Let’s play Maths - Interactive explorables from Geometry to Artificial Intelligence

It gives us immense pleasure to present our Special Session of LUMS Math Circles featuring Dr. Andreas Daniel Matt (CEO, Imaginary), who was accompanied by Dr. Imran Anwar.

The session started with a brief introduction to the different math apps/games that were being showcased. There were apps and games for all age groups, and each app focused on different aspects ranging from Math and art, Math and Music, Neural Networks, Machine Learning, and many more. Dr. Andreas briefly explained the Mathematical idea behind each interactive demonstration. Participants were exposed to the broader use of mathematics through fun-filled interactive games from the IMAGINARY creations.

Participants were so excited and engaged throughout the session. Dr. Andreas and Dr. Imran explained to them the famous Millenium Problem in Mathematics namely: The Navier-Stokes Problem through a simulator presentation. Participants were exposed to various simulation models and their importance in practical research problems.

It was inspiring to see how technology is being used to make math more accessible and engaging for students of all ages. IMAGINARY built these resources for Mathematical, ML & AI exhibitions and deployed them worldwide in many walk-through museums ( La La La exhibition in Germany). This MATH CIRCLE was one such exhibition.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Andreas for his wonderful contribution to our noble cause.
