Doughnuts, Coffee Cups and More…

In this LUMS Math Circle, Dr. Haniya Azam introduced kids to the idea of the topology of different objects. Using different props, students had a hands-on experience with rubber sheet geometry. Dr. Haniya wonderfully taught them how to compute Euler characteristic of several platonic surfaces.

The session concluded with an award distribution ceremony by Dr. Adnan Khan to students who were able to solve challenging math problems in the last math circle. Here are a few clicks from the event:
