Above, a picture of the finished project, which was a collaboration with Mistress Ysabeau (weaver), Lady Clara (designer and team lead), Lady Keylan, Lady Jill, Lady Helena, and Lady Ava (each of who embroidered one of the Shire mill rinds).
Right, a progress picture of my contribution to the project. (Here, I have been ordered to tell you that I broke my right wrist a few days into this project and had to finish it using my left [non-dominant] hand. Thus, the need for the hoop and the stand . . . and the embroidery-support kitty.)

A piece for Kolfinna Valravn from a kit developed by Tanya Bentham based on a medieval pilgrim badge. Done with Bayeux stitch and split stitch.
