Past Week Accomplishments and Challenges:

Challenges / Solutions:

• Mapped Jenga blocks, but then had to disassemble belt tension-er and lost positioning. Need to remap.
• Had issues with the ADC giving inconsistent values. Fixed this by giving Arduino better power supply.
• Finish PD control on all motors. This has already been done on the base pivot motor and works very well.

Accomplishments:

• Changed wrist servo motor for DC motor with gear box and potentiometer.
• Installed and wired all 6 IR sensors.
• Improved catch mouths "Block stopper" so blocks don't bounce out of the catch.
• Rebuilt and improved tension-er so that is is smoother and wont loose tension over time.
• Built play arena to practice on and Map out tower.

Week 9 Plan:

• Continue to optimize electrical and mechanical systems as testing progresses.
• Incorporate IR sensors into code.
• Re-map Jenga tower blocks.
• Finish PD control
• Begin testing of the entire system in play
• Develop game strategy
