Block Puncher has been difficult to build. We have to be more aware of the weight that we are adding, but also make it large and strong enough to be stable and rigid.
Possibly add another motor to assist in vertical motion.
Redesign the punch enclosure to be able to withstand the punch forces.
Accomplishments:
Wrist mount design complete, and built, currently awaiting gears to be delivered.
C-Clamp has been built, even with the punch enclosure failure the C-Clamp can still be used with the addition of a few modifications
Servo for the wrist rotation has been made and is ready for mounting.
Week 6 Plan:
Have a completely wired electrical system.
Build the sensor array plate.
Finish C-Clamp modifications and assemble the arm
Finish all Mechanical systems
Build a test arena for robot testing.
