Be a substantive constable or higher in the Roads Policing Unit having passed the probationary period.

Pass a series of Time Trials.
A maximum of 2 Trial's may run concurrently at any one time.
Interceptors must operate with TWO crew members (both at the rank of Police Constable or above and each holding a valid Taser ticket) unless driven by an Advanced Interceptor Driver.
A maximum of two Interceptors may be deployed at any time, with both marked and unmarked Interceptors counting toward this limit.
Only one unmarked Interceptor may be deployed at any given time, including during an active Venice deployment, where the unmarked Interceptor assigned to Venice still counts toward the two-Interceptor limit.
RPU Command may authorise a third Interceptor when operationally necessary.
All Interceptor deployments must use their respective callsigns (IC-X for marked Interceptors and RPTR-X for unmarked Interceptors).
Interceptor drivers must remain with their vehicle whenever possible and are not to engage in lengthy foot pursuits if other units are present.
Deployment of any Interceptor requires at least two Traffic or Advanced Driver vehicles (Marked Komoda AD-X) to be on duty.
A Team of experienced Traffic Officers who've undertaken additional driver training to drive the Marked Oracle XS-LE. The team primarily focus on the safe conclusion of pursuits, and assisting in police operations through their unique capabilities.
Officers interested in becoming an Interceptor driver should register their interest with their Team SGT.
Interceptor Progression Pathway -
Trial Interceptor; for new drivers to get experience behind the wheel in preparation for the Interceptor Test.
The Trial period lasts for up to 14 days, during which you will be able to drive Marked Oracle XS-LE Interceptor under supervision of a current Interceptor Driver before taking the test. The test can be taken anytime during the 14 day trial, however unsuccessful attempts will incur a 3 day cool-down.
Interceptor Driver; Able to drive their respective teams Oracle XS-LE Interceptor.
After successfully passing the trials, you will be signed off as an Interceptor trained driver and able to double crew the Oracle XS-LE Interceptor. The Interceptor must be double crewed at all times whilst holding basic IC ticket.
After a successful stint as an Interceptor Driver, you may be approached by RPU Command about progressing into an Advanced Interceptor role.
Officers selected for this position are trained to the highest level of pursuit tactics and are already established Interceptor Drivers who have consistently proven their capability and professionalism.
Achieving Advanced Interceptor Driver status unlocks the ability to solo crew the Interceptor Vehicle relative to their department.
For example, within safer roads, this permits officers to solo crew the marked Interceptor Vehicle.
For officers within the Proactive Intervention Unit, this qualification grants access to Raptor 1 (callsign: RPTR-1). This is the most powerful asset within the Roads Policing fleet and is only entrusted to a select number of the most capable RPU officers.
