This is offered to Response constables who have been approved by Response Command. Submitting the form will put your name forward for the next session held by Roads Policing driver trainers. Training covers pursuit driving, communication, stingers, TPAC and tactical contact.

Able to drive and communicate to a competent standard.
Have no current driving related warning points.
Be taser trained.

Ability to drive the high performance Ford Focus RS during Response patrols.

Ability to drive the BMW R 1200RT police motorcycle. For those interested, additional training is offered for VIP escort.

Ability to perform tactical contact and TPAC when authorised by a pursuit Tactical Advisor (TACAD).

You'll obtain additional tools such as traffic control nodes and Hollow Spike Tyre Deflation (HoSTyDS), known as Stinger.
