3.5 Activity

Once you are accepted into the Los Santos NHS & Fire service you are expected to patrol regularly to be kept as an active employee within the NHS/Fire. This doesn’t mean you have to patrol as a medic/firefighter all the time, however, some dedication is required and as you go up through the ranks this will become a little more intense. If you are noted to be inactive for a long period of time you will be moved back down to Paramedic/Firefighter and your slot within the unit will be given up for someone else. If you are found not to be working the minimum set time of 10 hours every 60 days without informing NHS/Fire command of any reason for this your employment will be terminated, and you are able to speak with NHS/Fire command if you would like to come back.

3. 6 Legal, fingerprints and photos

Upon joining the NHS/Fire, there is an enforced requirement for your fingerprints and a photo to be taken and added to your Police record, along with regular DBS checks. The NHS/Fire employs a legal team (CPS) to work with the NHS/Fire in matters pertaining to NHS & Fire confidentiality and court cases. Reach out to NHS/Fire command for more information.

3. 7 Disciplinary Hearings

Should your standards fall below the expectations of the NHS/Fire you may be subject to a disciplinary hearing usually due to issues concerning misconduct. This is a meeting where members of NHS/Fire command (CMO/CFO+) and a member from the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).

If you are subject to a disciplinary hearing you will receive an email (discord msg). You have the right to have legal counsel (a solicitor) present at the hearing, this is not mandatory. Should you not attend a hearing without a reasonable excuse for doing so this may negatively affect the outcome of your case. If you are unable to attend the date given, a new date will be set.

3. 8 Disciplinary points

This means if you are subject to disciplinary action you may be given a point/points in certain situations. Should you get 3 points your employment with the NHS/Fire may be terminated. Points are given by members of NHS/Fire command, This can be done if they feel a member of the NHS/Fire has been engaging in misconduct. Furthermore, any sort of criminal activity on or off duty can result in point/points. If you believe that you have further information to support your defence that will change your outcome, only then you can request a review of your case up to 14 days from the day the point/points are given.

3. 9 Termination of Employment

If you have been fired from the NHS/Fire you will be told if you are able to reapply later or if you are infinitely “blacklisted” from the NHS/Fire.
