The Los Santos County Sheriff's Office Aviation Unit responds to approximately 1400 calls per year and is composed of tactical control officers, pilots, and mechanics. The Aviation Unit works 24/7 to ensure officers on the road have an eye in the sky. The Aviation Unit uses planes and helicopters to achieve the mission. The unit has over 10 aircraft like the Cessna909, Bell429, and AS332. All of our aircraft have the latest technology like GPS sysetms, top of the line navigation, spotlights, thermal cameras, and night vision.
