Specialist Firearms Command respond to the most serious incidents across Los Santos. Our officers volunteer to take on the extra responsibility of becoming an Authorised Firearms Officer (AFO), and pass rigorous selection and intensive training to join our teams. Firearms officers confront any threat, whatever it may be, and are wholly committed to keeping the streets safe. All AFO's are Police Officers before they join, and must have completed all their required training and probation before being accepted onto our training programmes.

Our AFO's respond to incidents using our Armed Response Vehicles (ARVs). Once deployed, our officers are able to use a range of tactics, such as Tactical Contact, Hard-stop and building clearance to confront, and stop a threat.
