Virtual Background Build Challenge
Before we launch(pun intended) into all the learning and building of the Lunar Colony Challenge, let's start with a fun challenge of creating our awesome spaceships.
This is all about creativity. The only constraints are starting with the base below. From there you can let your imagination go wild and create something incredible.
Incorporate curiosity to generate new or original thoughts or products by
describing the possible limitations of an idea or product
using strategies (e.g., brainstorming, mind mapping, t-chart comparison/Venn diagram, etc.) to generate a new or original idea for current or future use
asking questions about possibilities
Show the development of ideas by
using source(s) of information
explaining how ideas were combined into something new
Consider what is not being seen by
pulling together information and ideas
drawing on others’ ideas to formulate original ideas
becoming familiar with the ideas of others
utilizing various types of thinking
“yes/and” rather than “yes/but”,
outside-the-box, or
abstract
using the resources and skills of others
accepting specific feedback
being open to different ideas

Start with base. It is designed using simple LEGO elements that I assume most have. You might have to adjust a piece here or there, but most of you should be able to design the basic frame.
Use the rest of your pieces that you own and have access to and begin to design your spacecraft. What you create is up to you, but stick with the spirit of the frame.
Yes, you can build on top and below.
Yes, you can extend
Yes, you can convert this to whatever you want as along as this base is used.
Watch the video to build the base along with me and learn more about the project.
