We have from a good source that the Arkansas senate has been fighting for weeks to stop the government from trying to take away social security benefits to ALL seniors that have not yet been vaccinated.

The deputy involved in the incident this morning is identified as Sergeant Michael Davis and he has been with the Lonoke County Sheriff's Office since 2013. The deputy will be on administrative leave pending the outcome of the Arkansas State Police Investigation.

STATE POLICE LEADING INVESTIGATION OF LONOKE COUNTY TRAFFIC STOP SHOOTING INCIDENT
An overnight traffic stop by a Lonoke County sheriff’s deputy ended in a shooting incident that left a teenager dead. The incident occurred outside a local auto repair shop about 3 AM today south of Cabot along Arkansas Highway 89.
Hunter Britain, 17, of McRae, the driver of a truck stopped by the deputy, sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to a North Little Rock hospital where he later died.
Special Agents assigned to the state police Criminal Investigation Division are leading the investigation at the request of the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Department.
The circumstances of the traffic stop and what may have led up to the deputy firing his gun at Britain will be documented in the investigation. The investigative file upon completion will be turned-over to the Lonoke County prosecuting attorney to decide whether facts and evidence in the case are consistent or not with Arkansas laws related to the use of deadly force by a law enforcement officer.

Governor Greg Abbott today issued an Executive Order prohibiting governmental entities in Texas — including counties, cities, school districts, public health authorities, or government officials — from requiring or mandating mask wearing. Public schools may continue to follow current mask-wearing guidelines through June 4. After June 4, no student, teacher, parent, or other staff member or visitor can be required to wear a mask while on campus.
Beginning May 21, local governments or officials that attempt to impose a mask mandate or impose a limitation inconsistent or conflicting with the Executive Order can be subject to a fine of up to $1,000.
Exempt from the Executive Order are state-supported living centers, government-owned or operated hospitals, Texas Department of Criminal Justice facilities, Texas Juvenile Justice Department facilities, and county and municipal jails.

5/25/2021 Texas HB1500 Repeal Emergency Powers to Regulate Firearms HB2622 Declares TX 2A Sanctuary
I wonder what spurred this sudden passing of all of these common sense laws in Texas. Do they know something is coming from the libatics that we don't know about yet? On top of just passing Constitutional Carry, Gov Abbott and the TX Senate are about to pass/sign the below bills.

HB1500
Repeal of Emergency Powers
• Last week, the Senate State Affairs committee voted this bill out of committee in the same version as already passed by the House.
• The bill is on the Senate Intent Calendar and could be passed on the Senate floor as early as today. The Senate previously approved virtually identical language with a 23-7 vote.
• The bill repeals a Texas governor's current statutory ability to regulate firearms during a disaster declaration or state of emergency.
• It also codifies AG Paxton's opinion that municipalities are prohibited from regulating gun stores through local emergency declarations.
HB 2622:
Second Amendment Sanctuary
• Earlier today, the Senate passed the exact same version already passed by the House. The bill now goes to the Governor, who has championed this legislation. If signed, it will go into effect on September 1, 2021.
• The bill keeps Texas personnel and resources from being used to enforce Federal gun-related laws enacted after January 19, 2021 that are not in Texas law.
• If an entity or agency violates the provision and tries to help enforce future Federal gun laws, that entity will be denied state funding.
• Note: The bill is NOT designed protect against existing Federal infringements or against any state-level infringements, and it does NOT stop the Federal government from enforcing their own laws.

Suppressor Freedom
• Last week, the Senate passed the exact same version already passed by the House. The bill now goes to the Governor, who has not yet weighed in on this legislation. If signed, it will go into effect on September 1, 2021.
• The bill repeals the Texas criminalization of suppressor possession apart from Federal regulations and establishes a class of "Made in Texas" suppressors that will be declared exempt from Federal regulations if they meet certain criteria.
• It also gives a path to secure a declaratory judgment on the constitutionality of this law before someone manufactures "Made in Texas" suppressors.
• Anyone who wants to take advantage of this law should first give notice to the Attorney General, who is then required to seek a declaratory judgment from a Federal court upholding the constitutionality of this law.
• NOTE: Those who try to manufacture or own suppressors without following Federal regulations before a successful and final court judgment may be subject to prosecution for a felony offense.
