Quarantunes

"Where words fail, music speaks." - Hans Christian Anderson

In these uncertain times, music can be a great emotional outlet. In the spring, I turned to playing my saxophones a lot as a way to take care of my mental health during isolation. Eventually I realized I was recording so many that I could realistically record the equivalent of one quartet per day that we were away from school. I did exactly that, and I ended up with a series of 105 songs that I called my "Quarantunes" - I created them all with the Acapella app (an iOS app by PicPlayPost) and thought I'd share them with you for a bit of levity. Enjoy and do what you love - it's good for the soul!

Now that we are back into remote learning (temporarily!), I plan to record the equivalent of one piece per day of isolation again.
