• Spiritual Roots Food Bank, Dwelling Place Church, 3325 N. Franklin St, Christiansburg, VA. Tues & Wed 4pm-6pm. Bring ID. One visit per person every 30 days.

• SNAP - The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) helps eligible low-income households by providing an electronic benefits transfer card (EBT) that is used at grocery stores to increase food purchasing power, reduce hunger, increase food safety and provide nutritious diets. • Town of Pulaski Senior Center has a food pantry for seniors needing assistance. Call (540) 994-8627 Monday-Friday, 8:30-5 to request assistance. Staff can coordinate delivery of food and necessities.

• Bobcat Backpacks - weekend food for Radford City school children.

• Micah’s Backpack - Families in need of weekend meals for Montgomery County Public School kids should contact their principal.

• No Kid Hungry - Caregivers seeking meals for children can text the word “FOOD” (or “COMIDA”) to 877-877 to find emergency food distribution sites in their neighborhoods.

• YMCA Meals on Main for youth and children. Bring kids Mondays & Friday afternoons for multiple to-go meals and snacks. OCTOBER 2020 UPDATE: new information about location and hours can be found here.
