How was everybody's weekend, hopefully you are able to get outside and get some fresh air even with the whole Covid thing I hope that you are finding some sort of normalcy in your lives. This week I think I won't put quite as much as last week, but I do enjoy putting this page together and sometimes I get carried away. Now here we go, lets look at what I put on the page this week and here's hoping it leaves you with positive feelings!!!

Here is an oldy but goody, "Don't Worry Be Happy", and in the times that we are experiencing right now it is a motto we can all live by, so sing it, play your ukulele with it or just watch it and for a few minutes just stop your worrying and be HAPPY!

This next song is even older than the last, it was a hit when I was a teen ager, "I Can See Clearly Now", which is another one of those songs that help us to see through the clouds that surround us sometimes and help us to see the positive things in live.

If you have never seen the movie "Cool Runnings" maybe right now this is one that you should watch. In this movie they face adversity head on and look through the clouds to see what they could do. Again, you will be able to watch, sing, play along with your ukulele or piano and if you are really ambitious, get up and move.

Okay, so I am getting a little sappy with all the feel good songs, but hey, I'm needing something to keep me smiling and music and songs like this can lift me up and make me look at the world a little differently. So here goes another feel good, sappy, happy song!!!

Now that you are smiling and feel like you can conquer the world, here is something that may challenge you. If you have been working on the rhythm things that have been in the lessons before they might help you with this next exercise. First you will have a tutorial on how the cup song works, she will give you words to help to remember each step of the way. Take it slow, stop and start, get the family involved and learn the movements and then each grab a cup and start passing the cup around the table. Kidz bop version of this song is here to show off your finished product, by the way, I would love to see the finished product, video your finished product then send it my way!!!

The songs I have chosen for this week are from the same musical, the first one for its' rhythms and how those rhythms are performed and the other one follows the theme that a lot of people are living by lately. That theme is, 'we can do this, we're all in this together'. Okay, have you figured out the musical........."High School Musical", the first one, so here they are, "Get Your Head in the Game", basketball rhythms and "We're All In this Together". Come one now, give them a chance, they are fun and catchy and I guarantee that they will put a smile on your face and a jump in your step, and if it doesn't, get your ears checked!!!!

Sorry I lied, that wasn't the last video, but this is the last one for sure. Last week you watched the blind audition of Nikolas and this week you are going to watch his sing off with two other boys, see what happens, does he stay or does he go?
