Famine Island

Famine Island is a relatively new location in the Creepyverse film-wise, only recently appearing in the so far unmade film, "Nycto". Lore wise, it is canon that at one point, in 1988, Liam (aka Older Bro) & his best friend William had ventured to this island on Halloween, looking for excitment and adventure. Liam was the only one who came out alive (full info. on Older Bro's Profile). On this island, there resides two entities: Raja & Nycto himself. Unlike Akrida Island, Famine Island has barely any life on it due to its more malevolent aura, and, most notibly, its lack of plant life for most of the year. Yes, the island does have a dense, expansive forest as you go further into the island, but this forest is also, unfortunately for any herbivorous life, where Raja resides. Additionally, it gets colder than normal on this island in particular during Fall & Winter, and the dark aura is said to actually intensify during this time, causing high stress levels for any large animal either way who would otherwise mate in Fall. You may have noticed that the falling leaves are not mentioned, and that is because the most significant reason for the vast lack of life is what happens in Summer, before Autumn. This island is home to the infamous "Famine Island Locusts", a species of Astro Locust. These locusts hibernate during Fall, Winter, and Spring, but resurface in Summer, eating literally all, or most plant life that manages to regrow in Spring. Speaking of Spring, Spring is the only short period of time in which any potential life that isn't a detritivore could actually have a chance at long-term survival. The island's locusts are what earn it the name, "Famine Island".
