LIAM'S DARK PAST:

Back in 1988, when Liam was 12, he had a best friend named William. One Halloween night however, they decided to go explore scary places. Their destination: Famine Island. 

When they got there, it was around 5:30 pm, and it started getting dark. They figured that this would be perfect for their exploration. They went onto the shore, and they noticed in the distance, several skeletons of unknown creatures. They thought it might just be Halloween decorations, but they weren't so sure. They started exploring the depths of Famine Island, and it started getting pretty dark. Instead of turning back, they ventured further, discovering clearings & creepy abandoned places. At around 7 pm, it was fully dark. As they explored a specific abandoned lab of sorts, they started getting a growing sense of dread. John suggested they turn back, but Liam wanted to keep exploring a bit longer. He didn't admit it, but he was uneasy too. By the time they got out, it was around 7:30. They were walking through the surrounding forest, when all of a sudden they heard a tremendous, distant roar. They were both freaked out, and their feelings of dread had intensified. They figured it was a good time now to turn back. However, unfortunately, they had gotten lost in the dark, and it was like walking blind despite having flashlights which were quickly running out of battery. They heard the roar again, much closer this time. They picked up pace, trying to get out of there as quick as possible. They thought they had found the path, but really it led them to another dead end. As they were walking, shivering from the cold, they started to argue. William accused Liam of being the cause of them being lost & cold, and Liam tried to fight it. They kept arguing as they trugged through the thick, dense forest, and at one point, William stopped right at the edge of a clearing and Liam turned around to face him around 10 ft. (3m) away from William. As William kept criticizing Liam, they suddenly both stopped as heavy footsteps crept closer & closer. As William looked at Liam with a tense, worried expression, Liam suddenly saw as 6 large hairy arms reached out from the dark woods and grabbed William, immediately pulling him back into the forest as he screamed. Liam was scared shitless, and he screamed & started running for his life, running off of pure adrenaline. He wandered blindly, and somehow, after 30 minutes, he finally found the coastline where they arrived.
