Red Locust

Red Locust F1

While not confirmed whether this is just F0 & there is actually an F1 with the og mantis-like appearance, the first form we know of from R.L resembled a bipedal, crustacean-like creature, possibly due to the flesh piece Carlos collected being from F2. This form was able to fire a plasma-blast from its horn, capable of great damage to things like trees and potentially rocks.

Red Locust F2

The 2nd form of Red Locust, this form took on a slightly difference appearance from its og counterpart, with a more spikey appearance, and two devil-horn structures on its shell. It also resembled more of a giant spidercrab than whatever Locust F2 was supposed to resemble. While not much is known of R.L's other forms & all, it is suggested this form can use cryo-based attacks like Locust F2.

Red Locust F3

Due to Red Locust also containing Locust's DNA, Red Locust already has most of his forms preset, but with some differences due to Carlos' DNA. R.L's 3rd Form is more spikey than the og F3, and he is more agile than Locust F3. Instead of a meteorite, R.L F3 is able to fire a more powerful version of the First Form's Plasma Blast, capable to setting areas ablaze and maming enemies.

Red Locust F4

This form was slightly more brutish than the og F4, with larger fangs & a more armored body. This form had an especially powerful bite force, capable of much more damage than Locust F4's bite force. Red Locust in this form can fire a concentrated, spiral version of Carlos' atomic breath, and this beam is white like Carlos', although it has a slightly more bluish hue to it. It's also suggested that he can whip his tail around, sending energy coursing down his tail and to his tip where he can then fire it out as another very powerful plasma blast, capable of immense destruction.

Red Locust was created by Carlos himself after the events of Ch. 1, in which, during the escape, he had taken a little sliver of flesh from Locust that had been blasted off by Alan during the chaos on the island, and he had kept it hidden for a good while until 2 years after the events of Ch. 1. He had noticed the flesh piece was starting to grow literally within the little bag/container in which he had kept it, as if the cells were going through some sort of crazy Mitosis. He presumed it to be the humidity within the bag (or container) along with the nature of the creature in which it had came from. Carlos, being very smart, but young, had come up with a pretty dumb idea, in which, he was going to try and clone Locust with what he had avaiable to him in order to try and tame it to fight against Locust and potentially save Lewis. Carlos wanted to know what would happen if he applied a drop of his own blood to the evidently alive flesh piece; potentially to make the piece grow into something faster with his own DNA added to it. Evidently, his DNA sample had in fact increased the amount of cell mitosis, and it was shockingly actually starting to grow itself into an actual living organism. With each coming week, the mass would grow larger, and eventually several different sets of little eyes began sprouting from the mass which still basically looked like a little meaty piece of tissue. Eventually, however, about 2 months after the creation process began, the mass would end up starting to take a more natural shape, like a bipedal-creature fetus of some sort, still connected to a big piece of meaty flesh. After a while, it became a full meaty fetus-like organism, the bipedal nature of it being chalked up to Carlos' DNA. The creature wasn't capable of reacting to very much yet, but eventually it became able to move as it grew and grew, starting to grow more distinctive features... Eventually he knew somebody was going to find out, so he moved the developing creature into the nearby woods where nobody would find it, everyday he would go check on it. The creature was actually visibly red in coloration, and at one point, the thing actually grew to about a fifth of the size of Carlos and made a fleshy cocoon around itself, much to Carlos' surprise, but since it had Locusts' DNA, it wasn't all too out of the ordinary. After a couple of weeks, the cocoon getting bigger & bigger, one night, Carlos awoke to the sound of screeching in the woods. Alarmed, he snuck out of the house and went into the dark woods with a flash light, and when he got to where the now bursted open cocoon lay, he noticed that it was gone. He heard something in the treeline, and aimed his flashlight into the trees. What he saw was the creature, now literally his height, starring back at him, with sharp teeth, a hunched posture, and soft, pre-mature armor plating covering its bipedal-crustacean body. Red Locust screeched at Carlos, blood and other fluids still dripping from its body, and then it took off running into the dark forest. Carlos ran after it, trying to get it to come back to him, but it kept on running very fast and very far. At some point, it became tired of Carlos following it, and Red Locust turned around and with his pre-mature horn-like structure, he fired a plasma blast towards Carlos, barely missing him & hitting a tree right next to him, causing a small fire that eventually burned out. Carlos figured it was now too dangerous to persue it further, and watched as it ran into the woods & disappeared, then, he turned, and ran for home, defeated.
