RECENT ACTIVITY ON THE DEVELOPMENT
EX-PLAYGROUND AREA REDEVELOPED
We’ve done, at very little cost, a massive renovation of the ex-playground area between Headway and Fisherman. Overgrown stuff removed, a new boarder opened up in the large area of concrete and 4 fruit tree planted. We plan to do a little more to improve the privacy from Beaufort Court, but we’ve made a start.
Go and take a look at the progress so far.
END OF LOCKSMEADE ROAD REDEVELOPED
The old playground area at the end of Locksmeade Road that was mainly concrete and an ugly brick wall surrounding a shrubbed area was redeveloped in the autumn (2018) and here is what it looks like now…
We also gained an extra parking space as well.
RAILINGS ON THAMESGATE REPAINTED
The railings that adjoin the footpath to the lock were repainted in the spring (2019)
FENCE ON ANGLERS REPLACED
The broken down fence on Anglers at the front of the development was replaced in the spring (2019).
OUR ‘D’ RETURNS
The ‘D’ on our roadsign has been skillfully repainted by the daughters of Adrian Costeanu of 8 Locksmeade.
