When a property on the Locksmeade Development is being sold, the Locksmeade Owners Company requires to know straight away:
The address of the property to be sold.
Both seller and buyer’s names and addresses, and that of both their respective solicitors.
The date of the proposed sale.
This information will enable the start of the transfer of the LOL company share from the seller to the new owner.
The date will allow both parties to calculate and aportion the Annual Maintenance Charge (AMC) for the current year between them, As a reminder, the AMC is levied in June/July for that calendar year.

Solicitors tend to treat the company as a letting or managing agent. Please make it clear that we have nothing to do with the ownership of the freehold tof the property, but we need to know the outgoing and incoming owner’s names in order to transfer the company share across and levy future annual maintenance charges to the new owner.
