i. Select the main material from a predefined database list.
ii. The material is categorized as either structural or non-structural.
iii. Its composition is specified as virgin or recycled.
iv. Select the sub-materials.
v. Select the specific product.
vi. Select the unit of material (e.g., kg, m³).
vii. Select the country/region of origin.

User Guide of Localization-Based Emission Factors Calculator (Enhanced)
The logic is the same as the previous calculator, but it allows the user to obtain a country-specific localised emission factor for a specific product/ material.
Step 1: Utilize the drop-down menus to choose the main material category and its corresponding sub-material category.
Step 2: Utilize the drop-down menus to choose the material type (structural/ non-structural).
Step 3: Utilize the drop-down menus to choose the existing product.
Step 4: Enter the distance from the other region to Hong Kong, or utilize the default data.
Step 5: Utilize the drop-down menu to select the transportation mode.
Step 6: Obtain the results of country-specific localized emission factors (A1 to A4).
