The calculator operates on a web-based concept, assuming uniform manufacturing processes for the same material across all locations and transportation to Hong Kong. This approach calculates these construction materials' emission factors in stages A1 to A4. With a "Cradle-to-Site" life cycle boundary being considered in this project, the emission factors in the production stage (A1-A3) and transport stage (A4) of materials are considered in the calculator. The calculations of such compositions are illustrated below.
