The calculator operates on a localization-based concept, assuming uniform manufacturing processes for the same material across all locations and transportation to Hong Kong. This approach is employed to calculate the emission factor in stages A1 to A4 of these construction materials.

Additional products/materials will be reviewed and incorporated into the calculator database periodically.

This tool maintains all previous functionality while featuring a simple interface design and addition of plant-based and recycled materials.
