Open the app, tap the Setup tab, and fill in the values for your truck. The costs are split into two groups — Fixed Monthly Costs (insurance, payments, ELD, dispatch fee, etc.) and Variable Costs (fuel price, MPG, maintenance reserves per mile). Type your Estimated Monthly Miles so the app can convert your fixed costs into a per-mile number. Tap Save. You only need to do this once. Update the numbers any time your costs change.
Tap the Calculator tab. Type the rate the broker is offering, the paid miles, and the deadhead miles to pickup. LoadMath instantly shows net profit, profit per mile, all-in rate per mile, break-even RPM, and daily profit. If the load looks good, tap Save Load.
In Setup, under Dispatch Fee, you can choose Fixed Amount ($) or Percentage (%). If your dispatcher takes a flat per-load charge, use Fixed Amount. If they take a percentage of the load rate, use Percentage and enter the percent (e.g. 8 for 8%). LoadMath then subtracts the right number from every load you calculate.
Deadhead miles burn fuel just like loaded miles, but you're not getting paid for them. A load that looks like $3.00 per mile loaded can drop to $2.20 per mile once you count a 200-mile drive to pickup. LoadMath shows both numbers — Rate per loaded mile (what the broker is paying) and All-in rate per mile (what you're actually earning).
Open the Logbook tab. Set the period picker to Yearly and navigate to the tax year you want. Tap the share icon in the top-right and choose PDF Report. The PDF includes per-load detail and full totals for revenue, costs, net, miles, fuel, and tax. PDF export requires a Premium subscription.
Open any saved load and scroll to the Documents section. Tap Scan Document, choose the category (Bill of Lading, POD, Rate Confirmation, Receipt, or Other), and the iOS document scanner opens. Multi-page scanning, edge detection, and color/B&W modes are built in. When you're done, the scan is saved as a PDF attached to that load. Document scanning requires a Premium subscription.
Open the load. In the Documents section, tap Send All. LoadMath combines every scanned document for that load into a single PDF and opens the iOS share sheet — email, Messages, AirDrop, or Save to Files.
On your iPhone or iPad, in the app's private data folder. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. If you delete the app, you delete your data. If you back up your device to iCloud or to your computer, your LoadMath data is backed up with it — but LoadMath itself does not run any cloud service.
LoadMath subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → LoadMath → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Premium until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds for in-app purchases are issued by Apple, not by us. Go to https://reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the LoadMath purchase, and request a refund. Apple decides each refund case on its own policy.
This is rare and usually means the app was reinstalled or the device data was reset. Your loads are stored in the app's local data folder; reinstalling the app wipes that folder unless you restored from a backup. If you have a recent iCloud or iTunes backup of your device, restoring from it will bring the loads back.
Email iyibasmehmet@icloud.com with the subject Feature request: followed by what you'd like. Real requests from real drivers shape the next release — every meaningful change LoadMath has shipped came from a user email.
Apple's standard subscription terms apply — first-time auto-renewable subscriptions are often eligible for a refund within 14 days in most regions, but the actual decision is Apple's. See "How do I get a refund?" above.
Yes. The app does not need internet to calculate loads, save them, scan documents, or generate PDFs. The only time you need internet is to make a Premium purchase or to restore one.
